Known as a meticulous planner, director-producer Shankar finds himself on a sticky wicket. Shankar, who included ‘power star’ Srinivasan as one of the cast members in his upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual I, is now thinking hard as to how to complete the film’s dubbing session as Srini has been cooling his heels in Vellore Central Prison after a barrage of complaints of money fraud were lodged with the police against him.
The ‘power’ had fizzled out of Srinivasan’s self-styled title as more and more complaints of fraud are being filed with the Police against Srini with each passing day. Srini’s continued stay in prison and the bleak prospects of him getting released permanently or on bail have shocked Shankar and Ramanarayanan, the two filmmakers who have films on floors starring Srini.
Srinivasan has however, cooperated well with Shankar and had reportedly completed the shoot of all the sequences in I involving himself. But the voice dubbing remain uncompleted. And to get it done, Shankar even thought of opting to seek the help of mimicry artistes to mimic the voice of Srini, but keep his fingers crossed for the actor to be out of the prison soon, so he can get the originality from the actor himself .
