You would have heard about this theatre called Gopi Krishna complex if you’re around Theni district. It’s a pretty well-known theatre across that region. In a recent interaction with Behindwoods, Raghul Kumaresan, the proprietor of Gopi Krishna complex opened about the best-performing films in their complex over the past 10 years.

He says, “Theri is the highest grossing film in our theatre. However, Enthiran which was released in 2010 gave us the maximum number of footfalls.”

அஜித்தின் எளிமை, நேர்மை, இரக்கம்: கருணாகரன் வியப்பு !!

அஜித் இவ்வளவு எளிமையுடன், நேர்மையுடன், இரக்கமுடன் இருப்பதைப் பார்க்கும் போது வியப்பாக இருப்பதாக கருணாகரன் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார்.

சிவா இயக்கத்தில் அஜித் நடித்து வரும் படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பு ஹைதராபாத்தில் நடைபெற்று வருகிறது. காஜல் அகர்வால், அக்‌ஷரா ஹாசன், விவேக் ஓப்ராய் ஆகியோருடன் இணைந்து கருணாகரனும் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரத்தில் நடித்து வருகிறார்.

'தி இந்து'வுக்கு அளித்துள்ள பேட்டியில் 'நிஜ வாழ்க்கையில் ஆதர்ச மனிதர்கள் யார்?' என்ற கேள்விக்கு கருணாகரன் பதிலளிக்கும்போது "அஜித்துடன் பணிபுரிந்த போது, அவரை நெருக்கமாக உற்று நோக்கும் வாய்ப்பு எனக்கு கிடைத்தது. உங்களுக்கு உடல்நிலை சரியில்லை என்றால் மற்றவர்கள் எல்லாம் 'உடம்பைப் பார்த்துக் கொள்ளுங்கள்' என்று சொல்லிவிட்டு போய்விடுவார்கள். அஜித்தோ, நேராக மருத்துவரிடம் அப்பாயின்ட்மெண்ட் வாங்கப் போய்விடுவார். உங்கள் உடல்நலத்தையும் உறுதிப்படுத்துவார்.

எனக்கு குடிப்பழக்கத்தை கற்றுக் கொடுத்ததே 'அவர்' தான்: நடிகை ஊர்வசி !!

திருவனந்தபுரம்: எனக்கு குடிப்பழக்கத்தை கற்றுக் கொடுத்ததே எனது முன்னாள் கணவர் மனோஜ் கே ஜெயன் மற்றும் அவரது குடும்பத்தார் தான் என நடிகை ஊர்வசி தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

ஊர்வசி தனது கணவரும், நடிகருமான மனோஜ் கே ஜெயனை பிரிந்த பிறகு வேறு ஒருவரை திருமணம் செய்து ஒரு ஆண் குழந்தைக்கு தாயானார். ஊர்வசிக்கு குடிப்பழக்கம் உள்ளது என்று விவாகரத்தின்போது நீதிமன்றத்தில் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டது.

மனோஜ் கே ஜெயன் மற்றும் அவரது குடும்பத்தார் கூட்டாக அமர்ந்து மது அருந்துவார்கள். அவர்களால் தான் எனக்கும் மது அருந்தும் பழக்கம் ஏற்பட்டது.

என்னை போன்று என் மகளையும் நடிகையாக விட மாட்டேன். அவர் நன்றாக படித்து வாழ்வில் முன்னேற வேண்டும். (மனோஜ் மற்றும் ஊர்வசிக்கு ஒரு மகள் உள்ளார் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது)

நான் ஒன்பதாம் வகுப்பு படிக்கும் போது நடிகையானேன். நான் விரும்பி நடிக்க வரவில்லை. ஆனால் தொடர்ந்து நடித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறேன் என ஊர்வசி தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

ஊர்வசி மலையாளம், தமிழ், தெலுங்கு, கன்னடம் மற்றும் இந்தி ஆகிய மொழிகளில் 400க்கும் மேற்பட்ட படங்களில் நடித்துள்ளார். படங்கள் தவிர அவர் விளம்பர படங்களிலும் நடித்து வருகிறார்

Sivakarthikeyan’s next overseas rights sold!

Even before the first schedule, the overseas rights of Sivakarthikeyan’s soon to be kickstarted film with Mohan Raja have been snapped by AP International.

Sources say that as both Rajini Murugan and Remo have done remarkable business in overseas territories, AP International has snapped this new film of Sivakarthikeyan for a record price.

The first schedule of the yet-untitled film will commence in Mumbai along with Sivakarthikeyan, Nayanthara, Fahad Faasil and Prakash Raj. The film also has Sneha, RJ Balaji and Yogi Babu in important characters.

Ramji will be taking care of the cinematography for this new action thriller while Anirudh is in charge for music.

''WAITING TO ACT WITH AJITH AND VIJAY''

Yogi Babu whose performance in Aandavan Kattalai was received with a positive response is busy shooting for his next film, Adangathey.

When we spoke to Yogi Babu he quipped, "We are shooting in Kasi for the film. The hero is GV Prakash and the heroine is Surabhi. The film is based out of Kasi and this schedule consists of 18 days. I play the role of a mechanic in the film."

Opening up about his other projects he said, "I'm a part of SathurangaVettai 2. I'm also a part of Trisha's Mohini in which I have a good role. It is a nice experience to shoot in London for the film."

Talking about his dreams and aspirations he quoted, "Right now, I'm getting a couple of solid roles. But I would love to do a full-fledged role in a Vijay and Ajith movie."

Vivek attacks Nayanthara!

Comedy actor Vivek has slyly attacked Nayanthara for not attending promo events. At the Kaashmora press meet, Vivek has said that few heroines say that they are not attending press meets as their presence in the promo events are unlucky for the film.

The comedy actor jovially added “Hopefully heroines should also have additional sentiment to not get the final payment from producers saying that it will benefit the film”.

It’s well known that Nayanthara doesn’t attend any press meets of and Kaashmora is no exception. Interestingly Kaashmora’s one more heroine, Sri Divya was also not present at the yesterday’s press meet.
