Ajith Kumar has appealed to his fans not to waste their hard-earned money by putting up posters, banners and cut-outs on the eve of his 42nd birthday which falls on 1st May. Ajith populary known as Thala among his fans turns 42 on May Day.
In a statement, Ajith has said, “I hereby appeal to all my fans, well-wishers and friends not to waste money by putting up digital banners, cut-outs and posters on the eve of my 43rd birthday falling on 1st May this year. Instead of wasting money on these things, I’d be extremely glad if the money is spent in helping the poor and the needy,” Ajith has said.
Ajith disbanded all the fans’ clubs operating in his name a couple of years back just prior to the release of his super-duper hit Mankatha but that hasn’t deterred his fans from showing their love and affection for the star on the eve of his film’s release in theatres.
Ajith, who migrated to Chennai when he was a 2-year old baby boy, in a recent interview has also stated that he would never leave Chennai and can’t stay in any other city beyond a certain period of time.
